2019 Honda CR-V Trim Levels and Specs

The Honda CR-V is one of the biggest-selling crossover SUVs around, and despite an ongoing onslaught of new models arriving all the time, the compact Honda doesn't appear to be losing any of its popularity. If you’re considering buying or leasing a new 2019 Honda CR-V, here's a look at the full lineup of 2019 Honda CR-V trim levels and specs to help you decide which is best for you.

The entry-level model in the CR-V lineup for the 2019 model year is the LX, and the range then goes to the EX, EX-L and the Touring. Under the hood of the 2019 Honda CR-V LX is a 2.4-liter inline-four engine that produces 184 horsepower and 180 lb.-ft. of torque, which then comes mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

This may be an entry-level model, but it certainly doesn’t feel entry-level. Standard features include power features, 17-inch alloys wheels, LED daytime running lights, a multi-angle rearview camera, automatic climate control, a remote entry system, a 5.0-inch audio system with Bluetooth and a USB audio interface. The LX is standard front-wheel drive, but all-wheel drive is an available option.

Next up in the CR-V family is the EX, and the first thing to point out with this model is the powertrain. Instead of the 2.4-liter inline-four that you get with the LX, the EX is the first model in the lineup to come standard with a 1.5-liter turbo-four. This relatively new unit of the Honda puts put an impressive 190 horsepower and 179 lb.-ft. of torque, and it's a smoother and more refined unit than the non-turbo inline-four.

On top of the standard equipment of the LX, the EX adds features such as the Honda Sensing suite of advanced safety features, Smart Entry with Walk Away Auto Lock, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a 12-way power-adjustable driver seat, remote start and a power moonroof. It also comes standard with a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system that's Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

Go up another level to the EX-L and you then get a leather-trimmed interior; a power tailgate, power-adjustable seating; a two-position memory driver's seat; HomeLink Remote System; heated, body-colored power side mirrors including integrated indicators; a leather-wrapped steering wheel; and an upgraded 180-watt sound system with eight speakers.

The CR-V Touring is the top-of-the-range model, and it's easy to see why. The sound system is upgraded even further, this time to a premium 330-watt nine-speaker system. This top-spec model also comes standard with a hands-free power tailgate, LED headlights with auto on/off, rain-sensing windshield wipers, satellite navigation, roof rails, and dual chrome exhaust finishers and some very smart 18-inch alloy wheels.
